Number Dogs

In fifth grade, Jackson learned to make the 25 dog. To commemorate, we chalked a 333 dog, a 72 dog, and an 84 dog, amongst others.

I don't know how long it will be until a draw a regular dog again.

I remember being taught in kindergarten that when you draw the number 5 you should wait to put the bar at the top on last. Our teacher said the 5 is a man, and the line on the top is his hat. I never saw the man though-or his hat- so I drew it all as one fluid line.

I wonder if it makes a difference if a person's fives are men or not? A dog makes more sense to me.
